Social account data deletion

To disconnect a Facebook or Instagram channel and delete its Content Desk publishing metadata, contact your Content Desk account administrator and identify the agency, brand, and social account.

1. The channel will be disabled in Content Desk so no new jobs can be created.
2. The provider authorization will be revoked from the protected publishing service.
3. Associated credentials and temporary publishing media will be deleted, subject to security and legal retention requirements.

You can also revoke the application directly from the connected social platform’s Apps and Websites or Business Integrations settings.
